  1. The debt could also disappear if we got rid of this income tax system and replaced it with a sales tax. That way EVERY person in this country is paying their taxes, not just the 48 or 49% of Americans who currently pay a net tax.

  2. Every worker pays payroll taxes. If you roll state, county and city fees into the mix, the lower class is hardly exempt from a very high tax load. James Pilant
